Nikkei Senior Gardens was first envisioned by a dedicated group of Nissei (second-generation Japanese Americans) who came together to plan an assisted living community where their much-loved elders (Issei) would be ensured the enduring right to dignity and respect in a caring environment.
The plans for Nikkei Senior Gardens were transformed into reality through the diligent efforts of Harold Muraoka and Harry Nakada, working in partnership with the San Fernando Valley Japanese American Community Center and Nikkei Village, a non-profit housing corporation.
Responsible for managing Nikkei Senior Gardens is Seniority, Inc. Based in Pleasanton, CA, Seniority has a long-standing reputation as a leader in senior living management, sales and marketing and consulting.
